TECH 1030 - Fall 2011

The space program has always been fascinating to me. That's why I was excited when I was assigned the Cassini-Huygens Probe as my final paper topic.
This class provided the opportunity to learn more about the technologies that surround us, many of which we use everyday. It was a joy to be in the first ever offering of this class. I feel that it was a success and hope that it continues to be offered in the future.

MUSC 1500 - Fall 2011

It doesn't look like much, but its kind of a catchy piano solo. Don't be confused by the title....its not very jazzy. It just has some chords that scream for "jazz hands"....Okay, it was late and my wife and I where having fun with the assignment.
I've been a musician for quite some time (getting ready for a long week of concerts as I write this). However, I've never been on the technology side. Someone hands me a piece of music and I play it. Not much thought was put into how the notes got onto the page. It was fun to get a chance to play with the technologies (and history of those technologies) that make making music easier.
